Antique French Steel Cut Shoe Buckles, Pair

This is a pair of late 19th century French steel cut shoe buckles. Faceted cut steel shimmers like diamonds in a dramatic art nouveau rectangular with diamond center surrounding a flower design.

Originally worn as shoe buckles, these beautiful pieces could be worn as a scarf tie, accent on a belt, or as a hair accent. Tie on as a napkin ring. Embellish a package, wreath or display with other shoe buckles.

These has a timeless design that looks fresh even today.
