Xploring Asian Art and Antiques
Asian art and antiques offer unique home décor options for every style and color palette.
Balinese Sari Sari Art Dream Mask
Created in Bali by world renown artist Wak Jaka.
Imported for LifeXplore from an Indonesia art collector, this mask is from a light Waru wood. A stunning mix of Wak Jaka's signature face morphing to nature.
This beautiful mask has a hook on the back so it can be hung on a wall, set on a shelf or add to a floral arrangement. As a basic gray and cream, it graces any color or home décor style.
Excellent antique Marionette originating to Thailand. With his strings attaching his arms, legs and mouth.
Marionettes of this quality - especially male puppets - are hard to find. His silk clothes are embellished and beautifully patterned.
This Marionette would be exceptional on a bookshelf in a den, used in puppet show or displayed under glass.
Delicate Qing Dynasty Rice Bowl
This is a beautiful example of an every day rice bowl from the Qing Dynasty. The markings indicate this was not a royal piece but probably a wealthier family.
During research for similar listings brought up Christie's article on Qing Dynasty Reign markings. The markings on this piece are represented in this article but the additional artist marking is not identified.
Very few porcelain pieces available with this age and markings on the internet for purchase - past and present. This is an extremely rare piece to be found in this condition.
