Something about a lid on a jar, bowl or other object is just so mysterious. It always seems to spark the imagination that the contents are magical. Okay, it does sound weird but too true. 

So, when we see antiques with lids or something special at a show that has a lid - we are all in! Checking out what's inside even though we know its empty. But just to think the treasures it can hold are worth it.
