Eisenberg Original Fur Clip, Pin or Brooch | Circa 1930-1940's | E214624 | Vintage
Eisenberg
$549.99
Eisenberg Original Fur Clip, Pin or Brooch. Circa 1930-1940's. Vintage.
This is an amazing statement piece with a graduating, gradual increase in the size of the stones and the width of this pin. It also has a gradual undulation that gives it "movement" to catch the light.
The back has two long pins with sharp ends to hold it.
This piece is shown in some of the photos pinned on a vintage fur collar. It does work, as shown with other Eisenberg pieces listed on our store, on a silver follower choker. If you choose, you could take to your jeweler and add a necklace loop.
Style as a pendant necklace, on (faux or real) fur, on a dress or to hold a scarf. Wears just as nicely in the day as evening - such a great statement piece in the sunlight!
Marked "Eisenberg Original" on the back. From circa 1938 to 1942, Eisenberg used "Eisenberg Original" to mark its pieces of costume jewelry. (See actual photos for hallmark.)
Eisenberg generally used Swarovski crystals for its jewelry. Their manufacturing was known for superior craftsmanship and attention to detail. Eisenberg became the most highly regarded costume jewelry manufacturer in the 1930s and 1940s. The company became famous for its replicas of 18th century fine jewelry, which appeared authentic right down to the pewter colored metal. Eisenberg fur clips generally cost about a month's salary at the time.
Approx. 3.75"L x 1" - 1.5" W
