Collectors delight. Ancient Long Life Ginger Jar is in amazing condition with lovely symbols and floral patterns grace this jar. Glazed pottery with long patina around the rim and base. The rosewood lid is marked "Made in China" and was added sometime later in its time.
Long Life Ginger Jar has a Hong Kong Art Craft Merchants Association Certificate of Authenticity along with a catalog purchase clipping from 1999. The Hong Kong Art Craft Merchants Association has appraised more than a million pieces of art and its certifications and appraisals are widely accepted in the art world.
This can be displayed by itself or use as a pot to hold chopsticks or flowers. Display with other Asian blue and white pots. Perfect on a shelf or window sill.
Approx. 5 1/4" x 7"
No maker marks on the bottom. No chips, cracks or issues. In amazing condition for its age.
